Losing 10 pounds in 10 days

Hi everybody,

Have you ever wished you could lose 10 pounds quickly?

Well… me, too. Today, I’m going to do something a little different for me — and begin a series of 10 daily blog posts that will chronicle my weight loss progress.

Now, I realize most of you probably have no interest in whether or not Mike Stevens loses 10 pounds in 10 days, but I’m doing this for you, too, and not just for me. Sure, I want to lose the extra weight very badly, but I’m thinking there might be a couple dozen of you out there who might be inspired to follow my accelerated weight loss plan, if it works for me.

So, beginning today, I’ll be posting very short, 2-3 paragraph updates each day for the next 10 days. These posts should take just a couple minutes to read. They’ll tell you what my current weight is on that particular day and provide a list of the things I ate, what my activity levels were, and how I was feeling as a result.

My goal is to lose ten pounds by next Wednesday, May 28th.

In the meantime, I’ll also be adding my regular blog posts, so you can expect to see my name in your inbox a little more frequently for a short while.

Oh… by the way… I’m not at all sure this will work. I may end up failing to reach my goal, but I’m going to earnestly try very hard.

Who knows, if it works for me, maybe it could work for you. Wouldn’t we all like to lose a quick 10 pounds?

My beginning weight is 210.5 pounds, and my goal is get my weight to under 200 pounds by the end of the experiment.

I guess this means no more donuts for awhile…
